There are only two more Monday Motivation posts after this to the end of the year, and I hate to admit I have not done as well as I’d liked.
However, to date I have lost half a stone, although it has taken me 11 weeks to do it, so technically this time next year I should have reached my target!
Yes, the scales have been kind and I have managed to lose a pound this week.
The only thing I’ve done differently is have extra veg with my meals, and this is mainly because Hubby has wanted it. Not that I mind as I love my veggies!
Yesterday we had our carvery and the veg was carrots, peas, cauliflower, brussel spouts, swede, cabbage, boiled onions, mash and roast potatoes. Add yorkshire pudding top hats (huge), stuffing balls and pigs in blankets (for Maggie), it was a full plate. Maggie enjoyed hers, plus she had a little bit of turkey off both of us.
This coming week is the last ‘friendly’ week as the final one takes into account Christmas.
I’m no saint and intend to enjoy my Christmas food, though we shan’t be overindulging as basically the digestive system won’t allow it!
Let’s hope I have a loss next week which will give me a head start!
My goidness! You are doing really well. I need to lose weight on my top half!
It’s slow, but as long as it comes off and stays off, I’ll be happy.
Thatβs good. A loss is a loss. No matter big or small. πππ»ππ»
Well done and life is for living. I started the SlimWorld diet as I wanted to lose 10kg by Jan…well I’ve lost 5kg in about 7 weeks. ;( I just hope I don’t put it on when we go to our daughters..
Keep it up!
Good for you! I’m almost two stone lighter than when I started originally in 2016, but had to ‘stop’ losing weight as my dots didn’t line up for my radiotherapy. It’s a struggle trying to lose the stone I put back on though I had managed to maintain my (unwanted target) weight since February to when I started again on my own in October.
