It was bad enough having an easement over his property, but Bert Bunne objected to the recent exoteric parafanalia that it attracted when it was realised.
Not exactly the grand opening of some Royal Gala, but his privacy was now shot to hell and he was annoyed.
It was pointless putting up a No Entry sign, so he had to cover up his ‘equipment’ and continue his hobby elsewhere in his home.
He chuckled, a cold, evil laugh.
Mrs Willis with her ethereal disposition had no doubt suffered a degree of emulation by her friends from the local WI when she entertained them on the edge of her veranda.
It would be a long time before her look of shock at his naked weight lifting in his back garden would be erased from his mind.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
