Same Same But Different
Your ‘Same Same But Different’ task is to take the five challenge words and NOT use them in your writing. That’s right, you need to dig out your thesaurus and find a synonym for each word instead.

Your words this week are:

  1. light
  2. man
  3. handle
  4. wind
  5. bag

Her holdall (5) lay open, its contents a fascination for the guy (2) sitting opposite on the train.
‘Anything wrong?’ she asked, trying to make easy (1) conversation.
‘Er, no,’ he said hastily, reaching for the door knob (3) and making a rapid escape.
As the door closed, a cold gust (4) whipped through the carriage, rattling the bones in her holdall.
She laughed. People were familiar with a Boozaphone, but not many had seen a Bonesaphone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
