Today’s things are: crisps, chips, beans
Anything with food has my immediate attention!

With Monday looming, I’m getting myself into the swing of caution.
I haven’t bought crisps for ages. It’s not that I haven’t fancied them (I have, BIG TIME!)
but not only is the cost ridiculous at around a pound a bag, or over two quid for a tube of Pringles which I could happily eat on my own, there lies the problem. I would stuff my face until they were all gone and still be wanting more. So best to deny myself the temptation.
In comparison, our chippy down the road does the best chips in town. Freshly cooked, big fat, chips and a sprinkling of salt, another No-No in the diet stakes.
Funnily enough, potatoes are on the SW list of free food, but make them into chips or wedges and 100g will attract a syn value, though probably not as much as you’d think.
And finally beans. Wonderful, FREE FOOD green beans.
Well, our wigwam is no more as the plants have been pulled, shredded and added to our compost heap. There were a few beans, but most earrings were limp and the larger ones tough, so it’s unlikely they would have come to anything. There were enough to give our neighbour a handful and I had the remainder in my dinner today.
This made me hungry!
The thought of food tends to do that to me too.
