Hubby loves me, as I do him. I know that. I don’t question it, it’s a given.
He has a nickname for me, as I do him.
That nickname is endearing and he refers to me a lot as such on his blog.
He has little cartoons of ‘me’ in various guises, including a plaster on my boob after my surgery, wielding a club, and when I’m angry.
So, to the woman who has left her husband because of his ‘cruel nickname’ for her, denying her child a father (though she suggests in the article that he hasn’t adapted well to being one), and generally having a hissy fit over nothing (source), all I can say is, there is more, or less, to your marriage than a name for you to walk away.
SWMBO stands for She Who Must Be Obeyed and it’s been around for years (as have I).
We’ve been married 27 years of the 29 we’ve been together and I love it.
Better this than The Witch, Bitch, or some other truly insulting names I’ve heard guys call their partners.
