Well, apart from the fish which came out of the freezer!
We’d pulled our potatoes and the tomato plants in the same bed, which has now been dug over and sprinkled with grass seed. The tomatoes there were all green and taken up to the chutney lady on the prom, and two of the potatoes needed to be used, so I had them for my dinner along with some green beans which are still coming!
I fancied parsley sauce something Hubby doesn’t like and did it in the microwave.
I put a teaspoon of cornflour in a mixing bowl, added about half a cup of milk and a good shake of dried parsley. I cooked it for about a minute then took it out to make sure it didn’t go like wallpaper paste or all lumpy, stirred well and put it back in to finish and keep hot.
Hubby had his wedges and mixed veg so a full freezer meal for him, and I added a couple of tomatoes to third out my plate to complete the home produce.

Hi Tony! We have done very well with our home produce. I have loads of green beans in the freezer, and we froze some of the first potatoes for stews rather than throw them away just because they’d been speared with the fork. Tomato and bean pasta today, so another home produce meal.
