Another obstacle…………….. or two

Having got on top of the F episode, we now have another bugbear. No pun was unintentional, but it’s very apt.

We now seem to be housing Mites.

As to their full identity, the jury’s out on that one at the moment, but once again we shall be stripping beds and washing on a hot wash, spraying and puffing, and Maggie will be seeing the vet. Every time she scratches, she’s pounced upon, but both of us have come up empty. Her skin isn’t inflamed, has raw or bald patches, and we’ve caught nothing on her.
However, it could be grass mites or just some other pesky pest that is invading our space uninvited and unwanted.

I’m growing extremely tired of things going wrong  household challenges just now.

We also seem to have an issue with our email.
Not only am I being asked to prove I’m not a robot each time I sign in, but the latest gen this morning is to download the app and hit some little icon to log in.
My phone is related to Noah. It makes and receives texts and calls. Nothing else. No camera, no internet connection, NO APPS.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Mitey bad luck, but what a lot of fuss over such little things!

    • Indeed it is, but with Hubby’s skin problems we can’t take any chances. Still, everything’s washed, and for good measure we zapped it on the hot setting in the dryer at the launderette!

I hope you manage to get rid of the little invaders! Such a pain.

    • I was originally with gmail when I started my blog, but my account was blocked and couldn’t be reset, so I switched to yahoo. Might be on the lookout for another soon.
