Frank is right when he says this conjures up a load of meanings.

I’ve had my fair share of rows with my sister and know how much they used to upset my Mum. Our personalities and attitudes are so different it’s hard to believe we’re related.
Rows also makes me think of the auto-counter on my Mum’s knitting machine which used to clock up the number of rows every time the runner passed. Many a time she had a funny looking shape or pattern as I’d been playing with it not understanding the significance.
There are hedgerows, plus rows and rows of cabbages, leeks and other produce in the farmer’s fields just now. At the moment, we have a tidy row of pots on our back path having re-sited our roses and fruit bushes.
But rows and oars definitely come to mind, so I’ll finish with one of my favourite pictures of Stratford Upon Avon when we had the boat. That’s us in the background.
Lovely snap 🙂
Thank you. It was our second trip to Stratfrod in 2015.
Enjoyed your post very much – and your takes on Rows ….
A lovely tranquil photo!
It was a lovely tranquil life, and we do miss it, but circumstances change and we had to give it up, but we did it on our terms. Our final trip is documented in my blog if you’d like to follow it:
All entries have ‘Final Trip as a prefix, and there are quite a few of them as it took 8 days to get to our destination…….. but what a wonderful 8 days!
