Sunday Writing Prompt “Take a Walk”

Today it is all about writing from a different point of view.

A different income bracket
A different level of fame/influence
A different profession
A different age group
A different gender
A different species
A different culture or religion
A different social/peer group

Here we go again.
Hot, sweaty, and I stink! But does he care?
We’ve covered miles together, he and I. Miles, I tell you.
He can always rely on my support, and what thanks do I get?
I’ve been a part of his life for about a year after he unceremoniously dumped my predecessor.
No warning. I just arrived, and it was goodbye to them, simply kicked out.
Nice (not).
He’s a moody guy too, takes me out on a whim or to impress the ladies when he’s got his kit on.
I’m tired of having to tip toe around him so I’m going to make a stand.
See how you get on with blisters mate!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
