July 8th: FOWC with Fandango — Scintillating

It was time to spice up the love life. Yessiree.
Boring was she? Lacked spontaneity wasn’t it he said?
The box came with all the goodies, and were a perfect fit.
This would show him.
She practiced in front of the mirror, every scintillating seductive movement, just as she’d seen on those movies he loved to watch. How did they get themselves in those positions?
Some made her neck and back ache, but she gave it her best shot.

Then she saw the bill. Two hundred quid for scraps of lace and a couple of ribbons!
She took it all off, wrapped it carefully and arranged for its collection and return.
He’d have to put up with her scintillating wit, as at least she could still make him laugh.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
