Object is another one of those words that can be used as a noun or verb.
The first thing that entered my head when I saw the prompt was
‘You can object all you like, but that object floating in the bowl is not mine!’
You decide what it was and the bowl in question. 😀 😀
It’s going to be another long and hot day I think.
Much as the sunshine is nice and the garden is thriving, well all but the lawn which is shrivelling but at least it doesn’t need cutting so often, I think most of us wouldn’t object to a little rain to cool things down.

We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
I’m not going to tell what object floating in a bowl first came to mind when I read this, although I will tell you that the bowl that came to mind was a toilet bowl!

We had a clap of thunder that shook the house. The dogs yawned. I guess they aren’t easily upset by a loud noise. Oh, and it’s raining like mad!
Still dry and hot here.
