Day 2 Day

It took an age to get through my reader yesterday, but then we were working hard getting the paper off the wall ready for painting today.

We were both up early as it’s going to be hot again this afternoon. Working as we have been is like being in a sauna, but with no health benefits like weight reduction. For me, it’s been stable for a couple of months, so I’m concentrating on getting Hubby’s diet sorted just now.
Hubby has put the first coat on, and something is amiss. Although the walls were clean and free of residue and any small flakes of paper, the paint has not gone on well.
We are leaving it to dry for the recommended 2-4 hours before applying a second coat, so I’ve been able to catch up with my blog.

After yesterday’s mammoth 9 posts (sorry for being such a windbag, but several were only short in length), I actually have very little to say today!
Bet you’re all breathing a sigh of relief at the relief of not being blogged under by my wafflings for two days in a row.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Loved the picture of the scales!

  3. Never, ever shall I put up wallpaper in a home, after all of the horrors I went through getting it off of the walls in my first house.
