Simple: FOWC #6

Thank you my friend for keeping today’s word simple.

I’m a practical and easy going kinda gal. I don’t like complicated, much preferring straightforward with no hidden agenda or ulterior motive.
WYSIWYG should be my middle name, but Hubby introduced me to KISS, which is much easier to pronounce.
What is simple for one is complicated for another, as Hubby is always saying about my speadsheets. Simple for me, but he can’t follow them no matter how hard I try to explain their simplicity.
I suppose though that if everything in life was simple for everyone there would be no challenges and as a species, we wouldn’t get very far.
Man’s greatest accomplishment has got to be the Moon Landing, a far cry from a simple manoeuver.

But then take ants: they have a simplistic lifestyle, where each does their bit, from the workers to the Queen. Working as a team, there is no jostling for power, one-upmanship, or shafting a fellow ant for a percentage, and they have been surviving for millennia!
Nature got it right there.

PS:
Like the new logo by the way. Simple, but effective.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
