Just in case you’ve been on another planet, Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle got married today. They are now The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a title that has been ‘vacant’ since the death of the original Duke in 1843, and she will be the first to hold the duchess title.
To show our interest, Hubby was painting the gates and I was walking the dog at midday when it was all happening.
The internet is now full of pictures of the celebrities, ex girlfriends, family and friends.
Of course the main interest is The Dress, and I have to say it was rather lovely with its simplistic lines and design.
I wish the couple well.

On to another important event of the day and the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and
Manchester United which is currently in progress. At the time of typing, Chelsea are one up from a penalty in the 22nd minute, and we are just about to enter half time.
Would be nice if Chelsea took the crown, not that I know anything about footie.

Seriously? Yet here I was, all done with the chores so I didn’t miss out on any of the royal action.

FA Cup final was probably more entertaining, but we didn’t see either (No TV)!
I did! I’ve always had a soft corner for William and Harry coz of Princess Diana. Also, they looked so much in love it was hard not to look!
I confess I do like Wills and Kate. I’m having a problem warming to Meghan though. I wish them well of course and she did look lovely.
