Life is an open book,
Let me share a page,
A memory of happier times,
One that will never fade.
Reach out and touch
Those snowkissed limbs,
As they stretch towards the sky,
Remember laughter and feel my love,
There is no need to cry.
Add new chapters to Our Book,
Fill it with joys anew,
Make memories forever here,
As I did once with you.
The seasons change
But remember this,
Feel the warmth of each sunny day,
Let snowy limbs embrace your soul
Before they melt away.
Reach out and touch
Your heart’s desire,
In a dream, imagined or real,
I will never leave you,
As I live within you still.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
