I have eaten a salad practically every day and increased my exercise, so I was hoping for another loss this week.
I’ll cut to the chase………… a gain of two pounds.
In hindsight and food analysis, I’m not surprised, but I am disappointed.
I’ve been feeling a little ‘sloshy’ and my ankles have swollen up terribly during the day.
I know exactly why, water retention, and it’s all down to the rabbit stuff.
It’s been proven before, too much salad for me and the body goes into starvation mode, storing everything in fear of never been fed burger and chips again.
Not that I have burgers and chips on a regular basis, in fact I cannot remember the last time I had a portion of chips, let alone a burger!
Oh well, what’s eaten is eaten and I can only try better. I shall be drinking plenty of water this week as believe it or not, that is the best thing for water retention!
The good news is we’ve walked an average of 2.59 miles a day this week compared to 1.57 last week (only 4 days of March) due to bad weather.
