Monday Walk

I’ve just got back from walking the dog leaving Hubby to have a lie in.
It’s a lovely day, really mild and the sun’s coming out.
Maggie and I walked along the beach and then through the park home, a distance of just under a mile.
I met up with Zack and his owners, and apparently the little thug on the block that attacked their GSD has also had a go at him. Zack fought back, so they are giving this guy and his snapper a wide berth. He lives in our road but a lot further down than us, and we already avoid him as the owner had already told me his dog wasn’t good with people or other dogs.

Just as I was coming round the corner, I was passed by a small JCB who made his way up the ramp to the flood gate.
I can imagine his thoughts when he looked at the job in hand:
‘I need a bigger digger!’

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Even after having seen a pic of Zack a few Posts ago, I still did a “double-take” with this Post thinking it was Ray! πŸ™‚
