Tuesday photo challenge: Hills

A beautiful autumn picture from Frank this week

You can almost imagine Julie Andrews coming out from behind the trees singing My Favourite Things.

Lincolnshire is basically flat, so apart from The Wolds, there’s not very many hills to climb (or mountains…… sorry, I’ve got The Sound of Music in my head now).
There are indeed multiple hills in Wales, and we viewed one house that seemed to have them all as you couldn’t go anywhere, not even out of the drive, without climbing at least one! We passed on that and explained our reasons, so were highly amused when the guy who’d shown us round sent us details of the property saying it ticked our boxes and could be of interest to us. It confirmed my belief that Estate Agents don’t actually listen to potential buyers and viewers.

But onto my hills.
Oh yes. These hills were definitely alive, a true vision of beauty and wonder.

These photos were taken in May 2015 just outside Malvern on the west side.
Hubby had taken me there for my birthday. Fabulous.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
