Have WP done to reader, stats and the general layout?
I hate it. It’s all over the place and dashboard is the only familiar thing.
Anyone else having problems (provided of course I can find any replies)

About pensitivity101
I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Glad to know I’m not the only one scratching my head!
Hope you have a great day.
It started off OK, but WP have put the kybosh on that! Everything keeps freezing and I have all my screens up at the same time!
I haven’t had freezes, but it’s been sluggish. Yesterday, I was going to link one of Purrseidon’s posts, so logged onto her blog to do a quick search and the entire right side menu was missing! Checked a few hours later and it was back, but that was quite unsettling.
I wonder what they are doing.
I don’t know, but I’m not happy. I’m trying to check my reader and have my comments menu down blocking one side, then on the stats page I have ‘stream’, ‘reader’ and a combination of other things I’m not familiar with. My sign out ‘face’ is missing from screens other than dashboard where I’m writing my posts, and trying to reply to a comment, I can only do that from the dashboard screen. It’s not April 1st is it???
No, it isn’t April 1st – yet … hate to think what devilment they’ll think up in a couple more months.
🙂
I’ve never liked Reader. I just go straight to Dashboard if I need to go there.
Hi Colin. I use my reader for posts from bloggers I follow or sometimes email. I’m not computer savvy so get nervous of changes.
Your Posts come to me via email, and the link in the email allows me to Like/Comment. What purpose does Reader serve in this context?
Mainly I get them all, so I guess I am going to have to change my methods of viewing the people I follow, which when I think about it cuts out all the unwanted ‘recommendations’. Thanks Colin!
🙂
On my computer everything is fine. Let’s hope they forgot about me.
But to check WP on my mobile is a real pain. Takes ages to respond if at all.
My mobile is a 20 year old nokia PAYG which just sends and receives calls and text messages. I can just about manage that! 🙂
😀 at least WP doesn’t give you trouble on this device.
ha! Indeed not!!! 🙂
