Dream Analysis

I’ve always tried to make sense of my dreams when they make no sense at all.
The classic is always toilets when I’m stressed or worried about something and no matter how many conveniences I find, there is always something to stop me using it. Nothing so boring as no toilet paper, more like no loo in the cubicle, or it’s halfway up the wall, upside down or another doorway leads to another cubicle, you get my drift.
So this morning I woke up with one very clear in my mind and have been mulling over it practically all day.

The Dream:

Out Christmas shopping, a handbag took my fancy for a family member, with the added bonus of having their initials put on it at no extra cost. There was no price tag.
I got out of the car and went inside to find that they didn’t have any of the three initials I wanted, and the alternative was a not-so-cute cartoon animal which I couldn’t determine as being feline or canine.

My analysis.
It’s the festive season, time to forgive and forget, build bridges, heal rifts.
The bag is a peace-offering containing what it may take to make all things better, whatever the cost, and the initials denote a specific person in mind.
Not having any of those required suggests that it just isn’t going to happen, it was an idea that could never come to fruition and to give the gift without would be useless.
The significance of the cartoon animal denotes that even the best intentions can be twisted and distorted until they are unrecognisable.

Points to note:
The family member in question is not someone I would usually buy for.

If I did, a handbag would not be considered anyway as she doesn’t use one.
The three initials were crystal clear, so there could be no confusion as to where my concerns were directed.

I have no idea if this is anywhere near a correct interpretation mark as I’m no expert in the field.
Anyone out there have any suggestions?
Just a thought.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I LOVE dreams and think that was a very good.explanation that you had, especially since.she called you. It may not be that forgiveness and reconciliation.is not possible.
