Tuesday Photo Challenge – Sky

This week’s theme from Frank is Sky.

The picture in his post is totally awesome! Please visit his blog to see it as my reduction takes away some of the glory.

Funny how I’ve written about the Lincolnshire sky this week.
When we lived in the Cottage (2007-2014) the night skies were fabulous.
Totally black,  the star constellations were in full view, crystal clear enough to touch.
It’s not quite the same now that we are further North, but when the street lights go out in the early hours, on a clear night the sky is as dark and diamond dotted as I remember.

We had some fabulous dawns and sunsets on the boat too

Sunsets from our berth

Angry sky from our berth

But these were the favourite times, peace and tranquility in another world.

Other than Frank’s picture, all these are my own.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I liked the angry sky and the first photo with the street light on the right. I almost thought it was the sun.
