Tuesday Photo Challenge – Blue

Wow. Love is Blue! What a fabulous picture Frank.

Myvatn Hot Water Spring
When I visited my brother in NZ seven years ago, I saw sky and water as brilliant as this photograph and it was awesome to the nth degree as I couldn’t believe it possible.
The air was clear, fresh, and colours took on a whole new meaning, let alone hue. Rainbows were truly amazing, it was like seeing something for the very first time, and although I already appreciated Mother Nature, this put Her in a whole new class of wonder for me.
My little camera cannot capture colours as true as this, and it’s a shame because we have some beautiful dawns and sunsets here that I can’t do justice to, but I do try!
My favourite colour may be green, not blue, but seeing scenes like this, it makes my heart sing with pleasure, so it’s pretty close!
Thanks Frank for sharing this one with us. It’s wonderful.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Thank you so much! I’d love to see New Zealand at some point, as it looks to have stunning landscape.

    • I enjoyed my two month stay, my sister in law making sure she showed me as much of her lovely country as she could, I stayed with a friend for a week in Napier, and did a mini trek for 7 days on my own taking in a Whale Watch trip and visiting Christchurch just after the first earthquake hit. It was a wonderful experience. We all went fishing and not only did I catch the first fish, but it was the one and only snapper of the day. Boy, did it taste nice!!
