Hunting High and Low

Nothing to do with the SoCS this past weekend, but a jigsaw puzzle.
MSM and I have been working on a Thomas Kinkade puzzle of London.
He is very popular and known as the Painter of Light, with several absolutely stunning puzzles in the collection.
I finished the sky the day before yesterday so have been concentrating on the reflective water and bridges.
It is proving to be another swine, and both of us have been looking for one particular piece to fit in one of the turrets in the centre.
Having sorted everything by shape, this piece appeared to be missing which was annoying as we hadn’t finished it, so this afternoon I have had everything off the table, checked the box and all the plastic bags lying around and as a last resort, moved all the chairs to check if it had fallen on the floor.
I am pleased to say I found it, face down, under the table.

All being well, MSM hopes to be able to finish it whilst we’re out on the road.
If not, I’ll probably do so if the light is still good by the time we get back.|

This is all we have left to complete now.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and have a terrible sweet tooth. Best friends are Hubby, our dog Maggie, Bro in NZ, MSM and MOH (and his dog). I am also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we were once again house hunting until September. We now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
