Night Off:

I’ve decided against weigh in tonight as things have been very much up in the air, the diet has gone for a bucket of chalk, and quite honestly, I’m too damn tired.
It’s been so difficult trying to eat sensibly when we’re off in the car all over the place, and I haven’t done any proper shopping for almost a fortnight.
I made a list and spent £32 today on the basics. I had a ham salad for lunch, and made a chicken curry with mushrooms, carrots and peppers this evening. We polished it off with frozen black forest fruits and quark. So, fruit and veg have been on the menu today.

I did weigh myself this morning and have put on half a pound according to my friendly scales. I’m just not in the mood for an official excess again, so I shall make an all out effort this week to get back on track and attend next week .

Sorry to let the side down.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
