A lovely picture to work with this week Rochelle.

Come to me by candlelight,
On moonbeams and stardust we will dine,
I wait in slumber for your steps,
My heart is yours, your soul is mine.
In the darkness my candle burns,
Guiding you forward to be by my side,
Come to me, My Beloved,
Our love will flourish and not be denied.
Time stood still when you did not come,
The moonbeams and stars faded to dust,
I wept, absorbed into my bed,
Alone in my sorrow, your betrayal of trust.
But still I wait, everything is prepared,
All ready for when the time is right,
The moon and stars will dazzle us again
When you come to me, by candlelight.

Retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination, loves to cook, favourite food everything especially chocolate and jelly babies. Best friends are Hubby and Dog, Bro, MSM and our Dominoes Friend aka MOH (and his dog). Also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours but times change and we are once again house hunting.
