The iced tongue beckoned into the gaping mouth of the beast.
Legend had it there was treasure buried deep within the cavern, one only had to be brave, or stupid, enough to enter.
He was neither brave or stupid. The water was deadly and a man would freeze in minutes. Many had disappeared without trace, either not understanding the tides or having no respect for the will of the Sea.
It was not treasure he was after, at least not of the monetary kind.
He wanted just one decent photograph of the giant albatross, and had been told this was their nesting site.
All he had to do was wait.
