This week’s Tuesday Photo challenge is about the weather.
Well, we are certainly having a lot of that today!

Us Brits tend to waffle on about the weather as it’s a good ice breaker to start conversation, though I prefer dogs! We’re never satisfied, it’s either too hot, too cold, too wet, or too dry.
Last week we had soaring temperatures, rooms were airless, and clothes were discarded within an inch of indecency.
These past couple of days, gardens have been joyously welcoming the rain whilst us humans moan and groan inside our homes.
Having to venture out in bad weather was the norm on the boat as we had to take Maggie out. Our yellow suits not only kept out the rain but also the wind, so although many people laughed at us, we were snug and dry as they dripped on deck.
I’ve never been able to get on with carrying a brolly as you could guarantee that if I tried to put it up it would either attack someone in the eye or convert me to a Mary Poppins lookalike and land me flat on my face.
I remember years ago handbags were designed with an umbrella pouch, but I suppose that’s old hat now (which is another thing I can’t usually get on with).
I’ve often wondered where the saying ‘Raining Cats and Dogs’ came from.
I like Frank’s picture.
Raining umbrellas is much more colourful on a dull day!
Great post about the human condition of discussing the weather!
I have wondered the same about that saying! 🙂
I tried to look it up but my system crashed!
Ugh! Gotta love technology!
