The end of May is here and come next week I will have been a SW member for a year.
Will it be as a Target achiever, Three Stone loser or both?
I have followed the same strategy as last week, stuck to my food diary and the internet weight loss planner like glue, and recorded everything I’ve cooked and eaten.
I want to lose three more pounds. That’s all.
Looking through my SW journal and loss progress pages, my weight has hovered around my secondary target since Christmas!
Whatever I gained, I lost, if not the following week, then the week after that, so I have been practicing for my ‘maintenance programme’ for months.
Just three pounds. Not thirty, three.
Have I done it?
Sadly no, not yet.
A small gain of half a pound this week, but it could have been worse as all four of the ladies in front of me had gains between 2 and 6½ pounds.
Maybe the scales had got stuck in a rut and I actually stayed the same.
No matter, I can live with it, especially as I know I’m still losing inches.
Walking the dog this evening, I had her lead around my hips as usual and it fell to the floor after a dozen or so steps (and no pushing or breathing in by me!).
