Tuesday Photo Challenge – Travel

Now that we don’t have the boat, our travels are by car.
Thanks to Frank for his lovely images of his travels.

We will be busy house hunting once it’s sold, so will be clocking up the miles for our next des-res, or Seventh H(e)aven.
I’m looking forward to it and posts will follow accordingly once we are back in a property of our own.
However, nothing will detract from the travels we’ve enjoyed on the river these past couple of years, nor our final trip on the canals which is a MUST for all canal boat owners.
This is one of my favourite pictures taken at Comberton Quay last year:
I miss the peace and quiet of the boat, but times and situations change.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

There is nothing quite like the tranquillity and slow pace of being on a boat. Lovely photo. Good luck with your house hunting. 🙂
