Wordle #155

Here is this week’s challenge:
https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/19271780/posts/1458519733

1. Never
2. Chair
3. Keta (n. an image that inexplicably leaps back into your mind from the distant past.)
4. Shard
5. Thirteen
6. Short
7. Color
8. Weed
9. Engulf
10. Magnitude
11. Disgrace
12. Elusive

The living conditions were a disgrace and elusive memories came flooding back as the keta of a school bully cut like a shard through his consciousness.
Such was the magnitude of its intrusion, he would never have imagined the person before him in a wheelchair was one and the same.
As a kid, he’d always been short for his age until at thirteen he’d suddenly shot up to reach his present six feet two inches.
Looking up, the chair’s occupant coloured with embarrassment and recognition.
‘Hello Weed,’ he said.
‘Hi Bryan,’ he replied, engulfed in a wave of pity for his childhood tormentor.

Retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination, loves to cook, favourite food everything especially chocolate and jelly babies. Best friends are Hubby and Dog, Bro, MSM and our Dominoes Friend aka MOH (and his dog). Also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours but times change and we are once again house hunting.

A good story – and often so true, that one’s childhood tormentor is nothing to speak of in adulthood.
