1. Pile
2. Smart
3. Pâro ((n.) the feeling that no matter what you do is always somehow wrong—that any attempt to make your way comfortably through the world will only end up crossing some invisible taboo—as if there’s some obvious way forward that everybody else can see but you, each of them leaning back in their chair and calling out helpfully, colder, colder, colder.)
4. Vicarious
5. Mash
6. Nasal
7. Disagree
8. Witch
9. Shed
10. Primitive
11. Wedge
12. Scrawny

Use at least 10 of the words to create a story or poem

It all started when he’d learnt a new word at school, Pâro, one his parents had never heard of, and felt smart for the first time in his life.
It had summed up his childhood perfectly.
Tired of the jokes, teasing, ridicule, and pile of BS that came his way, his thirst for reading and knowledge led him to vicarious scenarios from the somewhat primitive surroundings of the garden shed.
Gone was the scrawny kid with the nasal spray and in his place a superhero, astronaut or wizard, depending on his mood.
His fictional alter egos were only the thin end of the wedge though.
Who would have guessed that in later life in the culinary world, no-one could disagree that his visual creations from humble mashed vegetables were out of this world.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and have a terrible sweet tooth for jelly babies or fruit pastilles. Best friends are Hubby, our dog Maggie, Bro in NZ, MSM and MOH (and his dog). I am also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we were once again house hunting until September. We now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
