Wordle #153

Monday is Wordle day!

Use at least 10 of the words to create a story or poem:

1. Quarrel
2. Man
3. Singing in Bedlam (Being completely barmy/insane, but being happy with it.)
4. Rotten
5. Sheen
6. Whitewash
7. Scramble
8. Price
9. Narrow
10. Visible
11. Smatter
12. Masquerade

They’d had no previous quarrel with the man, but he’d chosen to whitewash over the rotten masquerade the farce of price increases amounted to. He was obviously extremely narrow minded and blinkered, lacking in one smatter of decency or consideration for his customers.
Covered in a sheen of excited sweat,  a furious mob took the matter out of their hands and he was found, close to death, by the roadside.
It should have been clearly visible that unless he decided to unscramble his brain’s desire for quick and easy wealth at others expense, he would find himself as he was now, singing in Bedlam.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and have a terrible sweet tooth. Best friends are Hubby, our dog Maggie, Bro in NZ, MSM and MOH (and his dog). I am also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we were once again house hunting until September. We now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
