Saturday Mix — Lorraine 15.04.17

Thanks Lorraine, a real mix and match this week!

I’ve opted for a flash fiction using
Car Washer as my choice from column A,
Curl from column B and
Box from column C.
Some idiot had left the latest craze of curled lashes on their headlights and put their car through the car wash.
Now they resembled a pair of dead tarantulas on the running mechanism, soggy, black and far from curly. It s a miracle they hadn’t fouled the machine’s rollers and fused the system.
Oh well, nothing for it but to gather them up, put them in a box and leave them on the back seat for the owner.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and have a terrible sweet tooth. Best friends are Hubby, our dog Maggie, Bro in NZ, MSM and MOH (and his dog). I am also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we were once again house hunting until September. We now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.

Love the way you wove the words into a fine piece of flash. The imagery is overflowing — car washes shall never seem the same.
    Thanks for playing along.
