Brilliant Idea

Today marked another first in my life with Hubby.
Most of you will probably find it hilariously funny, but I went through the car wash.
Yep, we lined up the car, punched in our access code, and got pulled in to be soaped and rinsed by the non scratch floppy-tailed rollers.

It was surprisingly loud as the water hit and we were pummelled accordingly, yet for once the dog wasn’t perturbed and remained curled up on the back seat.
As we were pulled back and forth on the rails, both sides were done at once.
The windows were clean and non smeary, and I had a thought.
What a shame we couldn’t take the boat up.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and have a terrible sweet tooth. Best friends are Hubby, our dog Maggie, Bro in NZ, MSM and MOH (and his dog). I am also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we were once again house hunting until September. We now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.

They have big ones for buses…. and they even have ones for trains, so I don’t see why somebody couldn’t make one for boats!
