A very quick hello and welcome!

February is turning out to be a rather wonderful month in the blogosphere for me.
Apart from yesterday when we were away from the boat and I couldn’t post anything earlier in the day, I have hit over 100 views every day.
I have also had a lot of activity regarding the ‘follow’ button, and have acquired 31 new followers this month.
I try to access sites and offer a personal welcome, but sometimes this is not always possible. If the wires are wet on the wifi box or the marina is busy with visitors watching the soaps on their holiday boats via ipads, ipods and fancy fruits, our signal is lousy!
Still, we try not to complain (too much), after all it is
freeThe stats thing is a minefield of contradictions and confusion, though my likes went nuts last week and I scored 105 in one day. That’s thanks to you, my readers.

So, in case I haven’t welcomed you aboard already, I sincerely hope you stick around and join in with your comments and thoughts about my posts. That’s the real buzz for me, someone taking the time to read and jotting a note down.
It helps me further embroider my life’s tapestry, and for that, I thank you all.
Digital CameraThese were done for us by my mother.  They were originally framed but as we couldn’t hang them anywhere, we took them out and put them on cushions.
You could say I curl up with my Mum every night.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and have a terrible sweet tooth. Best friends are Hubby, our dog Maggie, Bro in NZ, MSM and MOH (and his dog). I am also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we were once again house hunting until September. We now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.

  1. I love your final sentence – curling up with your mum every night. What a sweet thought. I have my Mom’s teddy bear which sits on the shelf above my computer and watches over me every single day, just like she did when I was growing up.

    • We made Mum a special teddy called Chloe and got an adoption certificate and everything. I noticed yesterday it’s in the hammock of soft toys over Mum’s bed, together with the gorilla (Chopper) I gave my Dad when I had my helicopter trip. It was the last thing I bought him as he had a massive heart attack two days later and never regained consciousness.
