Thank you Lorraine for an interesting mix of challenges for the weekend.

saturday-mix-4th-febI’ve chosen Love with a twist:
Craft a “love story” in 25 to 150 words, with an unforeseen twist at the end.

She knew she looked her best, and hoped he would be pleased.
Clean, the smell of a gentle perfume, a smile on her face, she was ready and waited patiently.
She heard the key in the lock and stood.
He came in, this lovely man who loved her wholeheartedly for no other reason than being herself.
Scooping her up in his arms, he nuzzled into the warmth of her body.
‘She’s all yours Mr Adams. Her leash and basket are waiting for you in reception.’

About pensitivity101

Retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination, loves to cook, favourite food everything especially chocolate and jelly babies. Best friends are Hubby and Dog, Bro and our Dominoes Friend aka MOH (and his dog). Also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' is now a 41 foot narrow boat. It's different and having swan and duck families for neighbours is much more relaxing on the eye not to mention the ears!
