Last Saturday

It is hard to believe that today is the last Saturday in January. It doesn’t seem five minutes since we were looking forward to welcoming in the New Year on a Saturday night.
chinese yearsI just hope there won’t be loads of fireworks going off later.

Last year was the Chinese Year of the Monkey.
I am a Taurean Monkey, and confess for me 2016 was quite a year one way or another.
Today, January 28th, we enter the Year of the Rooster.
roosterIt will be a long year as it’s not due to end until February 15th 2018.
These are the traits of The Rooster:
Honest, energetic, intelligent, flamboyant, flexible, diverse, confident.

And before some of you ask, President Trump is not a Rooster.
Born in June 1946 makes him a Dog.

As an aside, according to their compatibility test, Hubby and I are classed as 50% average and our relationship unlikely to last.
We’ve been together almost 28 years, so make of that what you will!

About pensitivity101

Retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination, loves to cook, favourite food everything especially chocolate and jelly babies. Best friends are Hubby and Dog, Bro and our Dominoes Friend aka MOH (and his dog). Also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' is now a 41 foot narrow boat. It's different and having swan and duck families for neighbours is much more relaxing on the eye not to mention the ears!

Yup……….. February next week …… and no snow in S. Ontario! Trump take note!

  2. Paul and I were born in the same year and same month, and he is technically a different animal than me. My parents are the same year, many months apart, and also different animals. I actually never thought of that before, but I would guess Chinese fortune telling would say something about that.
