Tuesday Photo Challenge – Animals

A new photo challenge for me as discovered at Jansenphoto: Dutch goes the Photo.
As this week’s subject is Animals, how could I resist?

The full rules of this challenge are in TPC Guidelines, but here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write a post with an image for this week’s topic
  • Please tag your post with fpj-photo-challenge (if you’re not sure about how tags work, please check out this WordPress article about tagging posts)
  • Create a pingback link to this post, so that I can create a post showing all of the submissions over the week (note: pingbacks may not appear immediately, as my site is set up to require approval for linking to it; helps against previous bad experiences with spamming)
  • Have fun creating something new (or sharing something old)!!

And so to the challenge:
I’m cheating a bit as these pictures of Maggie appear in my blog already, but it shows her doing one of things she loves best, and that is getting wet in the sea and swimming.

The above were taken in June 2015, and those below in September 2016.
where-is-it water-baby-1 i-could-do-this-all-dayAll are at Hamworthy Park in Poole, where we used to take her every day from a pup.

She has never made any attempt whatsoever to go in the water here at the marina, but open the car door at Hamworthy, and she is off like a shot to the water.
It’s her birthday today. She’s 12.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
