I owned up the other day to purchasing some biscuits from the Opposition and was short changed so wrote off to complain.
I received a letter on Friday to thank me for my time, accept their apologies and to advise me there was a package in the post under separate cover.
This arrived today:
You can see from the size of my cooker and microwave it was quite a big parcel.
Exciting isn’t it.

I received this:
The Houdini biscuits chocolate digestives have mysteriously disappeared already.
Methinks the cost of postage exceeded the value of the contents, but I’m not complaining.
It only cost me a stamp.
Note:
I had a spoof diet sheet many moons ago, and one of my favourite items listed was that broken biscuits contained no calories as they’d all escaped on breakage.
These were so well cushioned, that is highly doubtful!

In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I heard if you eat them standing up it reduces the calories.
That’s terrific……. they have further to travel and thus get weaker on the way down! Love it. Post in the offing I think!!!!
Smiles, would be good if calories disappeared before we ate the food, would save a lot of dieting.

Takes me back to the good old days, when you, the customer, were treated with respect; and goodie packets like this were sent out as compensation. Over here this never happens; but it’s nice to read that over there, sometimes, it still does,
