Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.
This week’s prompt is to write about the badly timed trump!!
Thanks Sacha!

Her hand seemed perfect.
Three Aces, two Kings, two Queens.
It was her turn.
A Queen first (having the king and ace), she grinned.
First round to her.
The King followed.
Round two won.
Then the Ace.
Another grin, wiped off in a flash.
Two of trumps, of which she had none.

About pensitivity101
I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
I am clueless about card games but you wrote this in perfectly!!!
We used to play a lot growing up, a big favourite being auction rummy. We used to gang up on sister’s boyfriend of the time, bidding for cards he wanted but we really didn’t just to leave him with a fistful when one of us got out. Oh, those were the days. 🙂
There were a couple of Indian games we used to play as a family too actually when we were younger. Those were the days!
Superb response and I love the fact that you admit to cheating… i would never ever admit to that😆😅😄
Ah, I can’t cheat and get away with it I’m afraid!
Amazing response, I would never have thought of a cards trump. That’s what I love about these prompts, such an amazing array of responses.
Thanks Sacha. I’m enjoying the vairety too.
