Lubing the Boob

Today sees the 40% marker of my radiotherapy, and so far, so good.
I am applying the water based moisturizer twice a day, and apart from a slight puckering and hardness in the underlying tissue which was expected, I am ‘cooking’ nicely.

Watching the machine yesterday, I realised how exact their measurements have to be as there were a few problems lining me up. I haven’t lost much more weight, though looking at my progress in the back of my membership book, I’ve actually lost five pounds since those measurements were taken and I was tattooed accordingly.

Attached to tapes and wires measuring the machine’s output, I could see green laser lines marking grids and the contours of my shape beneath the glass screen.  It reminds me of the pin art kits we used to play with as kids.

Eight down, twelve to go.
