Bowling you over.

As I was scouring away today, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, and thought EE-yew!
Both of us are intent on keeping everything on the boat clean and tidy but somehow this little thing got overlooked, so I set to with the cleaning agents and it is now spotless.

Our kitchen sink is small and rectangular in shape. We have a washing up bowl which measures around 10 inches in diameter (excuse pun), hence the problem with our original dinner plates and having to downsize to 9″ or less.
We wash up our crockery and cutlery, saucepans/pressure cooker, utensils etc, then rinse out the bowl and clean the sink afterwards.
What we had missed is not the inside or underneath of the washing up bowl, but the fluted ‘handle’ part on the rim! round-washing-up-bowl

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

It’s amazing how once you notice something like that , the niggle continues until you have sorted it out!!!!

  2. I have two very nice pans that have bolts where food just seems to be attracted, to be extracted only with great effort and much scouring. Never fun!
