I’m not much of a dancer these days, though I used to do a pretty good twist before I did my back in. I always regret not learning how to jive as Danny and the Juniors At The Hop always got my feet tapping, as did Bill Haley and the Comets Rock Around the Clock.
Nice slow smoochy numbers are definitely reserved for Hubby, and we have been known to do an impromptu sort-of-waltz down the frozen veg aisle in the supermarket .
Today, the song that is guaranteed to make me feel good and want to dance is ‘Happy’ from Despicable Me 2.
This post isn’t really about dancing though. More of a challenge across the floor to hog any available space and shoving everyone else out of the way.
I’m talking about WIFI.
Our router here is being swamped and we are lucky to get a connection for any sensible length of time unless it’s before 7am or after 11pm. Trying to upload images or researching something is horrendously trying, time consuming and usually unsuccessful.
Hubby, being an IT guy, has discovered that it is down to someone, or several someones, with Ipads and Apple equipment blocking everything, and we will be making enquiries tomorrow amongst our friends to see if anyone else is having the same difficulty.
I have also been having a few problems with WP, and from how formats are changing day to day, believe the guys are tinkering behind the scenes again.
Let’s face it, with Christmas just round the corner, this is the time those cheeky elves come out to play.
I want to see a video of you and your husband dancing in the vegetable aisle. That would be awesome. And I’ve always thought there was something a little creepy about elves. Enjoy your night (oh with the time difference you are probably already asleep). So shhhh…..I’ll be quiet.
Bless you Barb.
I’ve never been particularly keen on elves either, but one of the cashiers in the supermarket dresses up as one every year. he’s a right character anyway, but this year he’s promised to be a Santa elf, so I’ve volunteered to sit on his knee. He said he was a naughty santa, so I told him all the better. Hubby was laughing loudest by the way!
Haha
If our Elf messes with our wifi, he’s going to have some explaining to do.
I’m getting the rifle out!
