Oh, I am so trying to kick my butt into gear!
Today delish (?) dish was a jacket potato with cheese, green beans, cherry tomatoes, carrots and mushrooms.
I was in a hurry tonight when we got back, so I cut the beans in half and sliced my carrots smaller so that they’d cook quicker. I also added some rosemary to give it a bit of panache as I wasn’t going to have a sauce or dressing with my spud, relying on the heat to melt the cheese.
You know, 30g of cheese isn’t very much. I had it as my ‘A’ option today as 25g of cheddar knocks up 5 syns and I am trying to keep them down.
I weighed it out first, then tried to grate my sliver, and nearly ended up grating my fingers, still it was sufficient to taste and gunge up to stick.
Dessert was another pear as they are on special offer this week.

In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Love a jacket potato!
Have you tried doing SP Extra Easy days to kick your loss up the @rse?
That’s why I’m doing it, as Hubby can’t face normal meals yet really, so I can have mainly veg. We’ll see tonight!
If you can just do speed veg and fruits and protein… no other free food in your meals (sorry no jacket pots!) That will be an extra boost! Xx
Thanks Ritu.
