Hello America?

I have just logged into WP (6pm) as we have been out most of the day.
The car is being looked at this week and we have been given the same model, but with a bigger engine as a courtesy car for the interim.
It was virginal white and shiny when we were given the keys, but less than five miles down the road it was almost black.
XMO was a white Talbot Horizon, but she never showed the dirt as much as this one!

The marina WIFI service is like wading through custard at the moment, and I am dropping in and out like a yoyo when I finally get a connection.
It took me ages to get through my reader and comments, and I’ve noticed that I haven’t had a single view from the US today. Not a one!
That is highly unusual as most of my readers seem to be from across the Pond. I hope you haven’t got tired of me and my ramblings!
There is also something different about my WP screen which seems to be devoid of colour symbols.

Hubby is up in the laundry room as we have an early appointment tomorrow at the hospital (boob tattoo time). He’s doing some research on kitchen combi sinks and hobs as we didn’t strike lucky today with what we were after. We even detoured to a mobile home/camper van outlet, and believe it or not, nearly all of them had full size cookers like the one I already have!
My jeans literally slid off me this evening, no undoing of buttons or zip. The legs are baggy, and as for the backside, well, there is an awful lot of space in there!
I’m hoping that by washing them on a very hot wash they’ll shrink 🙂

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I’m here from Oklahoma — in the U.S.

Upstate New York here. Most of the north is snowy and cold today – maybe everyone’s hibernating?

I hope you find what you’re looking for, and that the wifi improves. Funny how something that didn’t exist when I became an adult has become such a vital part of life!

Good luck with the hospital visit, as well.

  3. I visited earlier in the day. WP must be wonky again. We’re around! You are going to need suspenders soon!
