Thursday Photo Prompt – Mystery #writephoto

An interesting prompt from Sue Vincent’s Daily Echo this week.
Have a look at her original post here
writephoto logoHere’s my take on it………….

‘I don’t think you’re wearing it quite right.’
‘What do you mean? This new camouflage kit is the tops!’
‘But I can see you.’
‘Are you sure?’
‘ ‘Fraid so.’
‘But it promises to make the wearer invisible, blending them in with their surroundings. The label says it’s the ultimate cloaking device! ‘
‘That’s as may be, but I can see you quite clearly.’
‘OK then Smarty Pants. Where am I?’
‘Perched on the roof just above the doorway.’
‘Dammit. So much for the element of surprise.’
‘Well actually you do have that.’
‘I do?’
‘Yeah. Although not quite invisible, one could say you are transformed.’
‘I am?’
‘Yep, dear brother. You now resemble an oversized pigeon. Be careful someone doesn’t mistake you for a turkey though. It is Thanksgiving after all.’

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and have a terrible sweet tooth. Best friends are Hubby, our dog Maggie, Bro in NZ, MSM and MOH (and his dog). I am also a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we were once again house hunting until September. We now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
