This week, Last week

Tonight is my final freebee weigh in, and I am not confident at all.
This week has been the hardest for me, and that is partly my own fault for setting myself a target for the duration which is so close I can almost taste it (and that steak dinner).
In order to achieve my goal, I think I have tried too hard, and in so doing given myself the added problems of feeling bloated and constipated.

Despite eating plenty of fresh fruit and veg, it is more than likely that I have not been drinking enough, and in desperation I reached for an old favourite to ‘help me go’.
No, this was not the beloved chocolate brazils, but dried apricots.
They are not exactly cheap to buy (500g cost just under three pounds), but the fresh ones did absolutely nothing, so drastic measures were required.
They are also not the best things to have on the SW programme, as they are not ‘free’ food, but classed as syns.

At 2½ syns per 25g, that may not sound a lot, but that bag of 500g therefore contained twenty portions and so a whopping 50 syns.
I’m afraid I could sit and eat a whole packet with little trouble, apart from a few hours later when the rumblings for the desired effect would begin to take hold and take me too far in the other direction. As it was, I had a good four portions yesterday, and let’s just say I’m a lady in waiting.

The ‘guideline scales’ showed no change this morning, and unless Mount Vesuvius shifts herself, my Club 10 certificate is still in the consultant’s box.
crying smiley 1Anyway, here are a few samples of the dinners I’ve had this week. Puds, if any, have either been fat free yoghurt and fruit or meringue, quark and fruit which you’ve all seen before.
