I have been good this week, lots of fruit (I feel like an orchard) and veg, jacket potatoes, drinking plenty of water etc, so it will be interesting to see how I’ve done.
I will be pleased with losing just a pound.
I have also increased my exercise these past seven days, pushing my mobility but not overdoing things. I don’t have muscles like Popeye, but perhaps I’m not quite so flabby now in the upper arms.
Our group meeting is very social, insomuch as we have a raffle and health basket for the Slimmer of the Week. For the latter, everyone takes a piece of fruit, veg, or something equally healthy, and whoever loses the most in the week gets the contents of the basket. It’s a good incentive to keep on track, and as C has contributed for both of us these past two weeks, I’m putting in some fresh apricots and a couple of bananas.
So. How did I do?

I have dropped another three pounds, so tonight I was awarded my HALF STONE certificate, and as I had lost the most in the week together with two others (including N, the new girl who started the same night as me and is just three pounds off her first stone, we are so rooting for her!) I also got a Slimmer of the Week certificate and a third share of the fruit basket. This included a whole pineapple which N had put in and didn’t particularly want, and the other lady didn’t like it, so they shared the oranges!
On top of that, I won the raffle, and opted for the vegetables (carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, flat mushrooms and a cloth promotional bag to put it in).
I shared the spoils with C, who lost another pound and is just one and a half pounds away from her target.
