We celebrated our Crystal anniversary in 2006.
It was quite a year as my sister celebrated her Pearl anniversary (30 years), it was my Half Century birthday (sadly no 50% telegram from HRH), and Dad had been gone ten.
The Announcement Page in the local paper was full of ‘us’ and a poem I wrote for Dad was printed in the Readers Letters for Father’s Day.
I wanted to get a special gift for Hubby, but had no idea what.
That was until I was walking down Poole High Street one lunch time and came across a lovely little shop called The Lemon Tree.
Inside, they had all kinds of handmade craft items, incense candles, tie-dye linens, jewelry, and the perfect unique gift I was looking for.
For years it held pride of place on top of my piano, lighting the room with its refracted sun rays and natural beauty.
Liberace may have had a candelabra, but Hubby and I had this:
This perfect crystal prism caught my eye and as you can see from these pictures, it looks different from every angle.
It now sits on the shelf along with our other treasures that can never be replaced.
Lovely how the colours change as you look at it 🙂
It is lovely, one of my best finds and purchases actually.
These are real treasures. We have on one, too! So lovely.
Great! They are truly lovely
