Chocs away

Oh boy, I’m on a roll now.
Walking the dog up to the supermarket (how did those doughnuts get there?!), I found myself reciting a little chant from yesteryear about a chocolate bar.
Maybe you remember it too:

A finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat,
A finger of fudge is just enough until it’s time to eat,
It’s full of Cadbury goodness and very small and neat………
A finger of fudge is just enough to give yourself a treat.

Or something like that.
But how about these and can you fill in the blanks:

Full of Eastern Promise      …. ……. …….
Bridge that gap with            …….. …..
And all because the Lady loves       …. ….
Who knows the secret of the ….. ….. box
Have a break, have a … …
A …. a day helps you work, rest and play.
A hazelnut in every bite     …..
A fistful of peanuts in every bar   …….. (formerly …….. )
…… melt in your mouth, not in your hand.
……… the chocolates with the less fattening centre.

Plus of course I love Hubby enough to give him my last ….

But the classic of all chocolate ads has to be:

Frys Turkish Delight
Cadbury Snack
Milk Tray
Black Magic
Kit Kat
Snickers (formerly Marathon)
and of course, Cadbury’s Flake.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
